Process of Flexo Printing

Design & Artwork

Creating digital design and separating it into color layers.

Plate Making

Transfer design to flexible printing plates (photopolymer or rubber).

Ink Preparation

Mix and prepare the appropriate ink (water-based).

Substrate Feeding

Feed the material (paper, film, etc.) into the press.

Ink Transfer

Anilox roller meters ink onto the printing plate, which then transfers it to the substrate.

Color Printing

Repeat the process for each color using separate plates and stations. (4/6 colours)

Drying/Curing

Dry or cure the ink using infrared heater.

Rewinding

Printed rolls are rewinded on the rewinder.
